I'm just starting to really get into the things GIMP can do. I just learned bump mapping and stuff using a tutorial. However, I think I'll need to go through it all again. I don't remember it all, not by just thinking about it. Maybe if I had GIMP open, I would remember better. Anyway...I'm not going to stop there. I'm going to find more tutorials and "how to"s to help me.

One drawback is I get distracted easily, and there is A LOT of things that can get me distracted and keep me distracted. Anime can be really addicting.

Well, with just learning bump mapping, I can already see the usefulness of really knowing how to use GIMP. Even though I don't need to use GIMP for everyday things, it's definitely cool to play around with it. Like someone told me once, knowledge is the best investment. It doesn't expire and you can use it as much as you want. The great thing is that I'm enjoying learning new things.

Now back to being distracted
